Objective:

The purpose of this article is to provide a complete and accurate guide for editing and creating job titles on the platform. It aims to provide detailed information on the process of creating and managing job titles, including the creation of new job titles, advanced options, as well as the use of groupings and templates to achieve a successful and standardized entry or editing.

Scope / Limitations:

This article will guide Buk clients in the edition and creation of the aspects related to their job titles, whether individually or in bulk, providing guidance on the correct entry and treatment of the job title data. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of maximizing the platform to efficiently manage job titles and establish a solid foundation in Buk.

Legal Support and Applications:

Buk adheres to labor regulations established by the competent authorities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and offering a secure and automated approach to people management. However, it is crucial to collaborate with your legal or HR team to ensure that the implemented methodologies are perfectly aligned with your industry's characteristics, processes, and specific needs.

Individual Platform Process:

To create job titles in Buk, access "Administration" and select "Organization." Then, click on the "Job Titles" option, which will redirect you to a view where you can review and manage all aspects related to your job titles.

In the "Job Titles" section, you can view the existing job titles, including details such as name, code, number of linked areas, number of employees and service providers associated, and related job title families. To create a new job title, click on the "New Job Title" button and complete the required information, such as name, code (unique and using letters and underscores), description, requirements, and linked areas. You can also use the "Advanced Options" to define the INE grouping, job title family, or limit by data set. Once you are done, click "Save."

From this menu, you can also click on the job title name to enter additional information, such as headcount, salary range, and respective measure of each job title.

In the "Job Title Family" section, you can review the groupings of specific job titles. Here, you will find the name of each job title family and the number of job titles associated with it. To create a new job title family, click on the "New Job Title Family" button, provide the name and related job titles, and then press "Save."

Finally, in the "Job Templates" section, you will find templates that allow you to standardize information for each job title. For example, when creating an employee and assigning them a job title, fields such as base salary, selected items, and others will be automatically filled in. To create a job template, click on the "New Job Template" button. You can then detail fields related to the job, the company, the supervisor, the schedule, and the corresponding items. Once you have finished, press "Save."

Bulk Platform Process:

To create job titles in bulk, go to the "Information" section, select "Importers," and click on "Importers." There, you will find the "Job Titles" or "Job Titles (implementation)" importer. Download the template, complete the information, and then upload the file using "Select file." If you need to edit any aspect of your job titles in bulk, use the "Job Titles (modifier)" importer. Download the template, make the necessary changes, and upload the updated file.

After creating the job titles your organization manages, you need to associate these job titles with the corresponding areas. To do this in bulk, access the "Areas and Job Titles (modifier)" importer. This tool allows multiple areas to be linked to a job title. Complete the template and ensure that the cells follow the required formats. Once ready, upload the file to Buk using the "Select file" option.

Please note that Job Title Families can only be created individually.

Once your job titles are created... You can start creating jobs for your employees!
